Reading Powerline just now I was struck by a reader's comment:
Reader Kevin O'Meara comments: "I also think we should establish Club Barney among conservatives, to make it clear to King Barney that he is going to face an energetic, well-financed opponent every election until he is defeated or retires. I sent Sean $50 this time - I'll send Barney's opponent more next time. 2010? Welcome to the rest of your life, Barney..."
That's an excellent idea and should be applied widely. Adopt a Democrat, fund his or her opposition and welcome them to the rest of their life...
